Plan a Visit

At Love Reaching Communities Church, we’re a diverse family united by our love for Jesus, and we’re passionate about making everyone feel at home.

Whether you’re new to faith, exploring Christianity, or searching for a church to call your own, you’ll find a warm and authentic community here at LRC. We’re all about gathering together, growing in faith, and going out to share God’s love with the world.

We can’t wait to meet you and help you feel right at home at LRC. As you plan your visit, here are some things to know to make your experience seamless and enjoyable.

Service Time

Our Sunday meeting is from 9:30AM – 11:00AM.

Our barista team starts serving coffee in the Grounded Coffee Shop from 8:30AM. So why not order a good cuppa before the service starts and get to know us better?

Location

Join us in our auditorium at 133 1st Road in Linbro Park next to the King’s School.

We are conveniently located near the Greenstone Shopping Centre, Modderfontein and the N3 London Road and Marlboro off-ramps

What can I expect in the service?

In a normal Sunday service we begin with a mix of songs, both old and new, accompanied by a band of musicians.

We teach out of the books of the Bible and also preach on topics from scripture, depending on how the Holy Spirit leads our Leadership team for that season.

At the end of the service we like to socialise, have a cup of coffee or tea – but of course if you have a roast in the oven, you’re welcome to leave straight afterward.

What about my children?

Children are a very important part of our community and we love seeing new faces at J Zone Kids’ Ministry. We believe that Jesus wants to have an intimate friendship with us from a very young age and our teachers are passionate about encouraging the kids to know Him personally.

J-Zone

Our teachers are passionate about Jesus and encourage the kids to know Him personally through Praise and Worship, Bible story time, age specific games & activities, prayer and chats.

Midmorning snacks are provided.

Compassionate Care

In a time where mental health and emotional struggles are on the rise, Love Reaching Communities Church has received a clear mandate from God to be a place of healing. Whether you’re in need of professional counselling / prayer ministry or you would like to join a group tailored to navigate some of life’s most difficult paths, we are here to help.

We offer the following courses:

Griefshare
Journey the loss of a loved one with caring facilitators, experienced and equipped to help you make sense of the journey of grief.
https://www.griefshare.org/

Divorce Care
Statistically more difficult than grief, divorce happens. Our prayer is that anyone affected by divorce would come to know the fullness of God’s redemptive and restorative love whilst journeying this course.

Elijah House
The Elijah House course creates a space for God to bring healing, sanctification and transformation through prayer ministry – helping uproot the hidden heart beliefs that often lead to trauma responses or unwanted behavioural patterns.

For more information on any of our compassionate care ministries or to book time with one of our counsellors please contact info@lrcchurch.co.za.

Our goal is to be a catalyst of change; to modernise the way youth view church and
the church views youth. We prioritise friendship over function, and at the centre of
that friendship is Jesus.

We are a group united in our diversity.

And boy do we have fun!

Malukhanye

Malukhanye, our alms programme, means “Shine your light”, and was started in 1997 with the vision to
uplift the underprivileged community in Alexandra.

God provides

For the past 25 years, God has provided in miraculous ways so that we could feed and serve this group of people.

We meet on Wednesdays and currently prepare and distribute food parcels and other basic needs to over 80 families.

His hands and His heart

During our gatherings, we serve refreshments, worship, share God’s Word, and minister to those who need prayer.

This is an opportunity to serve others with acts of kindness. Extra hands and hearts are always welcome.
