Youth

Our goal is to be a catalyst of change; to modernise the way youth view church and the way church views youth.

LifeGroups

All across Joburg, we meet in each other’s homes to fellowship, share about the word and to pray.

Corporate Prayer

Once a month, we gather to pray for each other, our community, the world, and for what God is around the world.

Malukhanye

Malukhanye, our alms programme, means “Shine your light”, and was started in 1997 with the vision to
uplift the underprivileged community in and around the Alexandra Township.

Our goal is to be a catalyst of change; to modernise the way youth view church and
the church views youth. We prioritise friendship over function, and at the centre of
that friendship is Jesus.

We are a group united in our diversity.

And boy do we have fun!

Compassionate Care

In a time where mental health and emotional struggles are on the rise, Love Reaching Communities Church has received a clear mandate from God to be a place of healing. Whether you’re in need of professional counselling / prayer ministry or you would like to join a group tailored to navigate some of life’s most difficult paths, we are here to help.

We offer the following courses:

Griefshare
Journey the loss of a loved one with caring facilitators, experienced and equipped to help you make sense of the journey of grief.
https://www.griefshare.org/

Divorce Care
Statistically more difficult than grief, divorce happens. Our prayer is that anyone affected by divorce would come to know the fullness of God’s redemptive and restorative love whilst journeying this course.

Elijah House
The Elijah House course creates a space for God to bring healing, sanctification and transformation through prayer ministry – helping uproot the hidden heart beliefs that often lead to trauma responses or unwanted behavioural patterns.

God provides

For the past 25 years, God has provided in miraculous ways so that we could feed and serve this group of people.

We meet on Wednesdays and currently prepare and distribute food parcels and other basic needs to over 80 families.

His hands and His heart

During our gatherings, we serve refreshments, worship, share God’s Word, and minister to those who need prayer.

This is an opportunity to serve others with acts of kindness. Extra hands and hearts are always welcome.
