Who We Are

Our Story

In 1982, God gave a vision that led to the birth of our church. Over the decades, the faces and circumstances have changed, but God’s faithfulness remains constant. Our heritage reminds us that He continues to shape and guide our community, just as He did from the very beginning.

Our Beliefs

The Love of God
We believe God’s love both embraces and transforms lives. This conviction underlies everything we do, especially our calling to reach communities with His grace.

The Triune God
We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternally existing in perfect unity.

Worship and Presence
We believe in passionate praise, intimate worship, the truth of His Word, and the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit.

Transformation
We believe every person is meant to be transformed into the best version of who God created them to be.

Authentic Love
We are genuine, sincere, and unapologetic in our dedication to loving God and loving people.

We Partner with NCMI

New Covenant Ministries International (NCMI) is a trans-local ministry team with an apostolic heart, dedicated to partnering with local churches. Through collaboration, they support pastors and elders in building their congregations to effectively carry out the work of Jesus Christ’s Kingdom in their communities. Their mission is to equip and mobilise believers for the advancement of the Kingdom and the discipling of nations—a mission that aligns perfectly with our own at Love Reaching Communities Church: to know Jesus and to make Him known!

Compassionate Care

In a time where mental health and emotional struggles are on the rise, Love Reaching Communities Church has received a clear mandate from God to be a place of healing. Whether you’re in need of professional counselling / prayer ministry or you would like to join a group tailored to navigate some of life’s most difficult paths, we are here to help.

We offer the following courses:

Griefshare
Journey the loss of a loved one with caring facilitators, experienced and equipped to help you make sense of the journey of grief.

Divorce Care
Statistically more difficult than grief, divorce happens. Our prayer is that anyone affected by divorce would come to know the fullness of God’s redemptive and restorative love whilst journeying this course.

Elijah House
The Elijah House course creates a space for God to bring healing, sanctification and transformation through prayer ministry – helping uproot the hidden heart beliefs that often lead to trauma responses or unwanted behavioural patterns.

For more information on any of our compassionate care ministries or to book time with one of our counsellors please contact info@lrcchurch.co.za.

Our goal is to be a catalyst of change; to modernise the way youth view church and
the church views youth. We prioritise friendship over function, and at the centre of
that friendship is Jesus.

We are a group united in our diversity.

And boy do we have fun!

Malukhanye

Malukhanye, our alms programme, means “Shine your light”, and was started in 1997 with the vision to
uplift the underprivileged community in Alexandra.

God provides

For the past 25 years, God has provided in miraculous ways so that we could feed and serve this group of people.

We meet on Wednesdays and currently prepare and distribute food parcels and other basic needs to over 80 families.

His hands and His heart

During our gatherings, we serve refreshments, worship, share God’s Word, and minister to those who need prayer.

This is an opportunity to serve others with acts of kindness. Extra hands and hearts are always welcome.
